Notes:

This course is being taught as an online course with only an orientation session meeting face to face. All contact will take place via the web site (cyber-class.com), the telephone, and e-mail. Messages, assignments, tests, etc. will be posted on your student site in cyber-class. However, if you wish to visit face to face I will be willing to do so upon request.

Assistance is available via telephone (numbers listed above) or e-mail. I have an answering machine on both telephones. You are encouraged to seek assistance at the earliest sign of need. Just out of sight is better than hopelessly lost.

A due date is listed for each assignment. Work may be submitted at any time prior to that due date. It is to your advantage to work at a pace that enables you to meet all due dates. Keeping up is easier than catching up. No work will be accepted (and no points earned) on any work that is submitted more than 1 week following the due date.

Extra Credit points will not be added to the total points possible but will be added to your points earned prior to calculating your percentage, thus not penalizing students who do not do the extra credit.

Taking a course online presents some unique circumstances. I have no idea who is striking the keys or completing the exercises unless the person identifies him/her self. I must, therefore, trust the communication I receive as being from the person named. Just as you would not have another write papers or take tests for you, I urge you to do your work yourself. You have an open book and other resources available to you at all times during the course. You are the one who will gain from your effort.
